We collect limited information about you during your visit to our website.

When you do not place an order on our website, do not create an account or are not logged in, the information we collect is limited to how you use the website (e.g. what pages you visit, how long you stay on them, etc.) and is not identifiable to you as an individual. Most of the information we collect when you do not place an order is discarded when you close your browser or, if in the event that you have logged into our website, when you log out.

When you place an order on our website or create an account and are logged in, identifiable information is collected. This information allows us to fulfil your order, and some of this information (never including payment information, which is never received by Oz Safety Store and which is instead passed through encrypted servers to and from our payment processor(s) only) is passed on to third parties to enable fulfilment (such as names and shipping addresses).

THE USE OF COOKIES

  • If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

  • When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

  • Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

WHAT WE COLLECT AND STORE

  • While you visit our site and place an order, we will track:

    • Order information like what was purchased, when it was purchased and where it should be sent; and,

    • Customer information like your name, email address, and billing and shipping information.

  • Our team members have access to this information to help fulfil orders, process refunds and provide you with after sales support.

 

WHAT WE SHARE WITH OTHERS

  • We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you. These may include the following:

  • Payments

    • We accept payments through various payment processors. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to these payment processors, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. This information is always encrypted to an industry-standard PCI-DSS level.

  • Shipping

    • Names and shipping addresses will be passed to our third-party freight agent(s) or, in the case of drop-shipped items, direct to our supplier(s) to facilitate delivery of your order.
